[Bug 223630] [NEW] Firefox 3 slowdown

Binary package hint: firefox

Firefox in Kubuntu 8.04 seems to be very slow many times.  Firefox 3 can
even become so slow it becomes unresponsive for a little while; this is
so common that it just happened while I was filling this bug report.  I
thought Firefox 3 was support to be faster.

I'm using Kubuntu 8.04 with KDE 3.5.9 and Firefox 3.0~b5+nobinonly-
0ubuntu3.
