[Bug 223796] [NEW] Thunderbird in Obuntu 8.04 does NOT accepts url links

Binary package hint: thunderbird

When clicking on the URL at the bottom of a E-mail, Thunderbird ignores it and no connection takes place.
This problem manifested it after Upgrading to Ubuntu 8.04.
No problem with the MS Windows XP installation.
