[Bug 223818] [NEW] No connection takes place when clicking on the URL at the botom of an E-Mail

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Clicking on the line with the URL at the bottom of a Email, nothing happens and no connection takes place.
This problem manifested itself after Upgrading to Ubuntu 8.04 from version 7.10.
Complete removal of Thunderbird via Synaptic manager and reinstallation did not solve the problem.
Release 3.5.9
No problem with Thunderbird on MS Windows XP.
