I've found that you can do this yourself by running these commands,
although it would be nice to set it up by default.

sudo apt-get install firefox-2 firefox-2-gnome-support
sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/firefox firefox /usr/bin/firefox-3 50
sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/firefox firefox /usr/bin/firefox-2 100
