[Bug 306617] [NEW] Impossible to send email with attachment for gmail accounts

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Ubuntu 8.04 & 8.04.1 Thunderburd 2.0.0.18 (started from 2.0) - gmail
account - impossible to send emails with attachment greater than 3mb.
Thunderbird shows message "Sending of message failed. The message could
no be sent because connecting to SMTP server smtp.gamil.com failed. The
server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify
that your SMTP server settings is correct and tr again, or else contact
your network administrator." Some times it's impossible to send email
with any attachments (for example forward a message in html format). I
think problem with timeouts, but I cound not handle them.
