Yes, I cannot make firefox freeze after uninstalling flash.  But like I
said in the OP, playing/pausing a flash video on youtube is what seemed
to cause the freezing.  With flash uninstalled, I can't play/pause.  But
yea, it seems to be a problem with adobe flash
