Hi,
I disabled the Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True", but nothing changed.

I formated and reinstalled Ubuntu 8.04 with nvidia drivers, and now the
"problem" seems to be gone.

I really don't know what was wrong with my xorg configuration. But the
problem didn't seem to be in firefox.

Sorry for my report that was wrong.
