Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Hello,

I want to disable any start page for new firefox windows (i always had
firefox this way), but since Ubuntu Hardy it doesn't let me set a blank
page...

Steps:

1) Open preferences
2) Set a blank home page
3) If i do not open any other firefox window, whenever I go back to check the Home page it is still blank.
4) But if I do open a new window, it starts with the ubuntu home page (chrome://ubufox/content/startpage.html) and when I go to check the home page again in preferences it is set to this address.

Is it not possible any more to just have a blank page for every new
window I open? With tabs it just works fine, new ones open blank.

Thank you.
