Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox
I use the s3fox (firefox) extension to back up my data on Amazon's S3
servers. I am using Ubuntu 8.04 with Firefox 3. The s3fox version is
0.4.1. The moment I start the extension, my system halts for nearly a
minute (mouse still can be moved). Every click made on the extension's
tab halts the system like this. However, once the files are being
uploaded and I navigate away from the tab, the computer performs
normally again. I have not noticed this sort of behaviour on machines
running other OSs and different Linux flavours. Is anyone else facing
the same problem? Also, I don't know if this is related to the
Ajax/Javascript bugs. If it is, I apologize now.
** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
