Something similar happens to me when right clicking links on pages.
Sometimes add bookmark comes up, sometimes the link opens in a new tab,
sometimes a new window comes up, sometimes the page switches direction.
Most times the menu appears though but it still is very irritating. :)

The problem seems to be that the menu appears on mouse down - not on
mouse up. When running MS Windows the menu appears first when the mouse
button is released. This way the button release from the click can not
trigger any menu actions.
