[Bug 197857] [NEW] The switch action between tags are very slow

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

The system is Ubuntu 7.10. After update the firefox by the OS automatically, I found it's a very slow action to switch tags when visiting some sites,like www.sohu.com, www.mydrivers.com etc. The firefox hangs there, and all the functions are invalid during the switch process.
      Before the update, I haven't encounter this problem.
