Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nspluginwrapper
I am running Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon with a custom
2.6.24-rc8-mactelmacbook 64 bit kernel. The package is nspluginwrapper
0.9.91.5-1ubuntu1. I am running the same version of the package. I was
attempting to get Adobe's flash 9 plugin version 9 r48 (and later I
tried the r115 version with the exact same result). When I tried to load
the flash plugin with nspluginwrapper, I got the following error:
roger at hephaestos:~$ nspluginwrapper -i /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so
/usr/lib/nspluginwrapper/i386/linux/npviewer.bin: 1: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")")
nspluginwrapper: no appropriate viewer found for /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so
The program then exits.
** Affects: nspluginwrapper (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
