This bug will be marked as a duplicate of Bug 177856.

Flashplugin r48 is not a good option for Hardy, because flash r48 has
major security flaws which are fixed in r115. It is unfortunate that
Adobe decided to combine the major changes in the flash plugin (i.e.
XEmbed and other stuff) with the fix for this security flaw (would have
been better if they released the major changes separately).

See http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb07-20.html for
more information on the security bulletin issued by Adobe.

It is also important to note that most or at least some of the
instability issues can be fixed by nspluginwrapper packages. Bug 177856
contains a patched and a fixed binary package. Please keep the issues
regarding the instability of flashplugin-nonfree on 64-bit SMP systems
at that bug report.

If you feel this is incorrect, please comment. Thank you.
