This bug is a bit older than FF3.

Everyone should also remember that there is a difference between Xorg
using 100% of the cpu and Firefox using 100%.

Also, have there been any developers working on or looking at this
problem?  Maybe we should be focusing more on bugzilla.mozilla to get
this fixed?
