[Bug 212568] Re: Firefox 3.0 always start offline

(Kind of) replicated on ubuntu hardy with wireless. Firefox 3 will start
in offline mode even though internet is connected (verified through ping
command in terminal). Firefox 3 will stay in offline mode until I close
it, open firefox 2, close firefox 2 and reopen firefox 3. When firefox 3
reopens, it does so with the "welcome to ubuntu 8.04" tab open.
