[Bug 276948] [NEW] Entity References Display Raw In Title

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

When entity references (such as &squo;/& squo ;/(')) are placed in a
title, they are displayed in their raw form - (&squo;/& squo ;). The
page I noticed this issue on claimed to be XHTML 1.0 Transitional - but
wasn't. It also appears that the particular squo entity is not in XHTML
1.0 Transitional. See
http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,,24430207-5001021,00.html

I'm not sure if this behaviour is correct according to W3C, but it isn't
particularly useful.
