[Bug 278382] [NEW] Clicking in text box selects text instead of moving cursor

In a text edit box, such as when posting a message in a forum, I click
in the text to correct a mistake. Instead of repositioning the cursor,
Firefox selects all the text from the old cursor position to where I
clicked. Since I am looking at the keyboard when this happens, all that
text is replaced by whatever I type. This is extremely annoying. It
doesn't happen all the time, maybe once or twice every few messages. It
happens in every forum I post in.
