[Bug 281958] [NEW] Firefox says flash plugin is not installed, but it is.

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

After one of the many updates of Intrepid Ibex, Firefox says that the
Flash plugin is missing, but I have the flashplugin-nonfree package
installed. It does not work with Epyphany, so I guess there's something
wrong with the package.

I've reinstalled it and uninstalled and installed again, but none of
this approaches worked.
