Public bug reported:
After I updated my 64-bit intrepid and new nvidia drivers were installed, the rendering on web-pages in firefox is broken.
So now if I open a new site, although it is completely loaded only some (or none at all) elements of the web-page are displayed. Strangely, if I scroll the page, it is shown completely. Sometimes, if I have multiple tabs open and click a link the new page is loaded (the status bar shows "Done") but firefox still shows the old page or a blank screen. If I hover my cursor over the page the elements of the new page, like links and pictures, start to appear, probably because the mouse cursor forces some parts of the screen to be refreshed.
I cant do a printscreen of such behavior, sice it forces an update and
the correct site is shown.
It seems to be a problem with the new nvidia 177.80 drivers.
** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
