[Bug 279112] Re: Linux Firefox 3.03 wont work with hotmail

I had noticed a difference in using Ubuntu Live CD and 8.04 install.

With the Live CD user, Firefox included 3.0b; Hotmail full version works
fine and includes the 'check-mail' button

but not so with the install.   Can you explain why?
