I've noticed very similar behavior.  I've been trying to use Facebook, which once upon a time worked fine (Hardy?).  I'm using Intrepid now, and there are problems.
One is that if I try to right click or do a Ctrl+V in a Flash text box, Firefox becomes unresponsive for 30 seconds.  It doesn't always come back with a grey box, but sometimes it does.
