Besides doing bad things on fly (as we say in France), this problem is
half fixed :

It is closed as fixed, and as far as I can see, it is on both trunk and
3.0 branch.

For me, not using firefox branding is a mistake. Because average joe
user who used firefox on Windows will be lost for not seeing it on
Ubuntu.

Just my guess, of course.
