[Bug 353170] [NEW] Cannot save (or load) attached document on samba folders

With ubuntu 8.10 and gnome desktop, you can create bookmarks to samba folders. Usually, when this folder has been opened, you see this folders in the open (or save) file windows of the softwares. With thunderbird, it is not the case, we cannot join a file that is on a samba folder, and we cannot save a file on this samba folder (because it dosen't appear) we have to save it first on the desktop and then to move it.. it is quite boring!!!!!!!
The drag and drop option (to join -or save- file to a message from a samba folder) also doesn't work with the samba folders...
