[Bug 354384] [NEW] firefox-3.0 ignores MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

I did try the 2 known environments variables   MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH
MOZILLA_PLUGIN_PATH to move the plugin path to another location:

Running FF3 even by:

$ MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH=~/.mozilla/plugins firefox

results in installing the plugins into the common profile path (not in
the given one).

$ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID:	Ubuntu
Description:	Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release:	9.04
Codename:	jaunty

$ uname -a
Linux tux 2.6.28-11-generic #39-Ubuntu SMP Thu Apr 2 04:39:54 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux
