The original report had the problem in 1024x800 resolution, so unlikely
that was a netbook.  The problem is that the dialog box for new card is
too large (tall) to fit in any of the lower resolutions such as Nx800,
Nx600 (and yes, we have some new systems that have even smaller screens
than that, such as Nx400).  Without the ability for that window to scale
down that small and/or have scrollbars, it is difficult to use it.
