[Bug 358760] [NEW] Strange things happen when typing text into fields.

1) Ubuntu 8.10
2) 3.0.8+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.10.2 
3) I expected normal text entry into fields.
4) The cursor moved randomly around the screen (jumped to different fields), and sometimes data I copied into memory was pasted into field (without me actually performing a paste operation).
