I renamed my .mozilla folder to .111mozilla and started firefox so as to
automatically create a new .mozilla folder.
The bug is still there, both in normal mode and safe mode. :-(
After that i made the following test:
Closed firefox and reopened it. Tried clicking and releasing the mouse button making a very very small pause before releasing it. The bug DID NOT occur.
Closed firefox and reopened it. Tried clicking and releasing the mouse button as fast as i could. The bug DID occur.
I repeated the above pattern for about 10 times and gave me the same
results.
So i guess the bug has to do with how fast someone releases the mouse
button.
I can NOT reproduce the bug on my second computer though, which has a
fresh install of 8.10 and an nvidia graphics card with 180 driver. My
first computer where the bug does occur has 8.10 through a series of
upgrades from 7.10 and an intel graphics card.
