[Bug 361219] [NEW] Upgrade via Update manager failed

Binary package hint: firefox

1. Release: 7.04

2. When I try to check the package name in Synaptic, all I get is "Could not download all repository indexes", so I'm not sure about the release (I am pretty new to Ubuntu and Linux)
3, 4. I have had some crashes lately, so I want to upgrade to 7.10 or higher from 7.04. When I try tu update via Update manager, it fails and I am prompted to report this as a bug and to include the files in "/var/log/dist", which in my case is "/var/log/dist-upgrade" , where 3 files are stored. I dont know how to attach 3 files so I pick just one of them, created today. Let me know if you ned the other 2 as well.  Thanks and regards
