if you can still reproduce it, can you please install thunderbird-dbgsym
packages from the ddebs archive mentioned here:
"https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs#Obtain a backtrace from an
apport crash report (using gdb)"

after that please reproduce and create a new backtrace.

Also for double free we probably need you to run thunderbird in valgrind
like:

sh /usr/lib/thunderbird/run-mozila.sh /usr/bin/valgrind
/usr/lib/thunderbird/thunderbird-bin
