Please try in safe mode by running the following command.
firefox --safe-mode 
thank re run the steps to reproduce this. In firefox 3.0.9 3.5 3.6 i have no problems going from thkbuy.com than openiong any google sites

I'm betting the problem is with google gears it has been known to be
broken for a while now.
