[Bug 501683] [NEW] Thunderbird logged out system (Lucid) on ctrl+copy

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Pressing ctrl+copy as reported in bug 408920 didn't just crash
Thunderbird, it logged me out completely. Since I'm having similar
problems with Firefox (bug 500848), I'm wondering if it's a
Thunderbird/Firefox issue at all.

What happens is that the display goes dark, a blinking cursor for a few
seconds and then a login, sometimes with password required and this time
not.
