[Bug 323065] [NEW] Firefox freezes when Gmail loaded and other Java-applet site activated

Ubuntu 8.10: I have my Gmail
(https://mail.google.com/mail/?hl=nl&tab=wm#inbox) as homepage for
Firefox (next to iGoogle and Google Calendar). Opening
http://www.osho.com/magazine/tarot/CardFrame.cfm?Transf=Yes&Nr=1 in a
new tab does not show the Tarot card (Java applet); clicking "Clear" to
refresh the Tarot card (java applet) freezes Firefox permanently.

Closing the Gmail tab prevents this sequence from happening.
