[Bug 394810] Re: Sync firefox with upstream in jaunty

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu.  The new version of Firefox 3.5 will be released in Jaunty shortly.  Since
Jaunty is a stable release, we cannot change the default browser except for security patches.  Therefore, we cannot force an upgrade to Firefox 3.5.  If you wish, you can install Firefox 3.5 alongside Firefox 3.0 in Jaunty, or you can uninstall Firefox 3.0 once we upgrade 3.5 to the release version.  Security updates for 3.0.x will be provided in Jaunty until End of LIfe for Jaunty or Mozilla discontinues them.  In Karmic, Firefox 3.5 will be the default browser.  Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.
