After upgrading to jaunty this weekend, I'm also hit by this bug, effectively rendering the system unusable. 
Tried with a new clean profile, and got locked out when I clicked the back button, on a google search...

The relevant data:

Can't get a stacktrace since the system is locked hard. 
Graphics card is an nvidia, using version 180 of the accelerated graphics driver.
