[Bug 401430] Re: videos don't always display

Since the reply from Micah Gersten, I have installed Firefox 3.5
(Shiretoko). I then went to the Adobe website and downloaded  and ran

install_flash_player_10_linux.deb.

Actually, it said that I was reinstalling it.

Videos still don't play. The add-ons lists in both Firefox 3.0 and
Shiretoko still say that I have Shockwave Flash 9.0 r999. Flash does not
appear in the drop down menu under Applications->Sound and Video.

Can you help?
