I'm not on final Jaunty because (it's crazy I know) this is my office
production computer, and I don't want to reinstall all my apps and move
all my files.

I'm not sure what you mean by has anything changed since march 30th, if
you mean do I still have the problem, the answer is yes.

I'm attaching the output of the commands above.
