[Bug 405824] [NEW] System very slow. Creating new folder in Bookmarks slow. Sorting causes freeze.

Ubuntu 9.04. Upgraded in March 09. System slow. Now slower. To created a new folder in Bookmarks, takes a few minutes. To sort names, causes freeze. I have to force quit. Getting worse.
I cannot give more information as not a "techie".
