[Bug 249250] Re: cannot use the address book when using To: when sending email.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please answer these questions:
1. Are you still able to reproduce this behaviour using the lastest stable thunderbird package? I wasn't able to reproduce it using '2.0.0.19+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.10.1' .
2. If so, please try to reproduce it using a new profile:

- close thunderbird
- mv ~/.mozilla-thunderbird ~/.mozilla-thunderbird-old
- start thunderbird
- add the account again
- try to reproduce
