It occurs before and after transferring my profiles.

In text mode, this doesn't happen. Only happens in HTML mode with
"variable width" or serif.

You've got it slightly wrong. This is how you reproduce it.

- compose msg in HTML with font set to "variable width", and it should be the same font as "serif".
- begin any line by typing J (can be capital or small letters...both have the problem))
- click on the MOVE bar (you don't even have to move it), or RESIZE works too
- at this stage, the extra tip on J will appear!
- now, you can put a space or enter right before the J
- the tip that appeared is stuck there!
