Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird

If there's no internet connection availible for some reason, Thunderbird will repeatedly throw a connection failure message when trying to receive mails from your accounts.
After clicking away, a password entry window will pop up, requesting to re-enter the mail account's password, which obviously has been automatically deleted.

I'm using TB 2.0.0.23 on Xubuntu 8.04 x64, btw.
