[Bug 574617] Re: Firefox 3.6.3 Freezes After Clicking Any Menu or Bookmarks Toolbar Item in Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 10.04

Problem seems to be gone after removing old Firefox /home/.mozilla
folder to another location, reinstalling Firefox and Flash, running
Firefox in Safe Mode and selecting the options to reset everything,then
selecting a Persona from the default Firefox page, and rebooting the
computer. Whew!

Not sure which of the above did the trick, though. Sorry for the
unscientific approach - I was in a bit of a hurry.

I still wonder what had been wrong to begin with, and how to ensure that
it never comes back.
