Release: 10.04 - 64bit
default install
Expected behavior:
After installing the adobe flash plugin in mozilla firefox, a user can switch back to swfdec then go back to the adobe plugin.
Actual behavior:
Everything was working great with the adobe flash plugin for firefox, but I switched back to swfdec player anyway to check something, and now I cannot get back to the adobe plugin. When I open the "Mange content pluggins" window and find Adobe Flash Movie, it listed swfdec as the player, and adobe is not listed in the dropdown box so I select 'search'. When I try to apply the adobe installer there, it tells me it's already installed. I even, uninstalled the pluggin via synaptec and let firefox instal it again in the hope that it would use it, but no. Even editing the about:config modules.plugins.mimetype.application/x-shockwave-flash by changing this value to: libflashplayer.so but no change. It uses swfdec anyway.
** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
