[Bug 577531] Re: firefox loads slow and opens pages slow.

Recently switch from modem to wireless router though still using
hardwire into router. Download of files - speed improved. Firefox 3.6.3
now takes 2 to 3 --minutes-- to open web page completely e.g.
uk.yahoo.com and this site. Installed Mint 8 with slight improvement but
had to re-install ubuntu 10.04. Running on desktop pc, amd sempron 3400+
processor, 2mb ram.
