Does the browser actually crash or does just the loading hang on certain
parts of the page? If its a network loading issue you can track this
down by using the firefox extension "Firebug" and its network panel.
(See here for some hints: http://getfirebug.com/network) A network issue
is probably not an ubuntu bug.
