There's no way to sanely call this intended or wanted behaviour, but of
course it's perfectly possible to say that it would be too much work to
do it right, even if it shouldn't be rocket science to allow multiple
potential writers to the same profile. (An even better solution would
probably be a configuration server, separate from the browser to allow
roaming with full access to your normal profile.)
