[Bug 586194] [NEW] power management causes system to shutdown unexpectedly

After disconnecting the power cord a message pops up that incorrectly
calculates that the laptop is about to run out of power. It says that 3
minutes are left. In many cases it just shuts down the system. The
actual battery charge is 4+ hours.
