Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

I've only gotten this a few times before, but this time its happening
more frequently. This is the error I keep getting for facebook, myspace,
and sometimes all sites word for word

Content Encoding Error

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an
invalid or unsupported form of compression. * Please contact the
website owners to inform them of this problem.

This only started happening recently, and by recently, I mean 10 minutes
ago. I can get facebook, and most other pages to load eventually if I
press the "try again" button enough. but myspace won't at all for
whatever reason. is my installation damaged? or does this happen when a
site is under maintenance or changing?
