I'm having the problem described here in 13.04LTS.
Writing a Google Drive text document I type an accented letter like á in a plain text, non styled, paragraph and nothing shows.
This is a very annoying issue, because it's impossible to work productively.
I can type accented letters in other parts of the document, usually in empty lines, but not always. Can't find a pattern.
This is a Lenovo T61 notebook with a Spanish LA keyboard.
The procedure to enter the accented letter is to click the acute accent dead-key and then the to-be-accented letter.
This procedure works everywhere else (like for example Gmail) but not in Ubuntu + Google Drive.
The problem doesn't show in Windows.
