Speaking as someone who found the TB31 compose-headers interface
sufficiently horrible that he actively applied much user-chrome CSS to
revert it to something very close to the TB24 one, while I'm not
entirely happy with the look of these latest screenshots, I'm much more
pleased with them than with either the as-shipped TB31 appearance or the
other mockups / suggestions I remember having seen so far.

Based on comment 52, I'm presuming that this would be intended as a
cross-platform appearance (as much as possible given OS/toolkit
capabilities), not something Mac-specific despite the current
screenshots?
