While the alignment attributes are gone now, the style attribute
remains.

Are we using "honesty" as a euphamism for avoiding difficult
functionality?

Is there a reasonable solution to aligning by column, rather than cell-
by-cell, other than this one or the CSS :numeric selector proposal at
https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=18026 ?
